The Story
The Name American Suiting Answers To.
Herbert Kasper trained at Parsons and in the Paris ateliers of Dior and Jacques Fath, won the Coty Award in 1963, and built his reputation on a rare gift: making accessibly priced clothes look exquisite. In 1984 his name went on a new line of suits from Seventh Avenue’s Arthur S. Levine — and Kasper became the label American working women reached for.
By the turn of the millennium, Kasper was the office uniform of a generation of professionals — the suit pressed and ready the night before the interview, the presentation, the first day. Few American labels have been trusted with as many big mornings.
Today Kasper dresses professional women in sizes 2 through 24W, petite through plus, at prices that keep polish within reach — the same promise Herbert Kasper built his name on.
“For over 30 years, we have been providing women with professional office attire and work-to-weekend styles.”
