Privacy Policy
Meison operates meison.com as a corporate website. It explains who we are, the brands we operate, and how partners can reach us. We do not sell products through this site. We do not take orders, payments, or shipping information here.
This notice explains what personal information we collect through this site, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to meison.com only.
Information you give us
If you contact us through the inquiry form, we collect the type of inquiry, your name, your email address, your company (optional), and the message you write. We use it to respond to you and, where a conversation follows, to manage that business relationship. Nothing more.
Please do not send confidential or sensitive personal information through the form. It is a first point of contact, not a secure channel.
Information collected automatically
This site is hosted on Shopify. Like most hosted websites, its servers record technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that referred you, and the date and time. This is used to keep the site running, secure, and stable.
We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used in aggregate: which pages are read, how visitors arrive, and where they lose interest. We use that to improve it. Our email platform, Klaviyo, also loads on the site.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This site uses:
- Essential cookies, set by Shopify, which are needed for the site to function and cannot be switched off.
- Analytics cookies, set by Google Analytics, which help us count visits and understand usage patterns.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some parts may behave differently. You can opt out of Google Analytics specifically using Google’s browser add-on.
Browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is still no common industry standard for how sites should respond to it, we do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We disclose it only to:
- Service providers who operate the site on our behalf (Shopify for hosting, Google for analytics, and Klaviyo for email), and who may use it only to provide those services.
- Legal and regulatory authorities, where we are required to by law, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
- A successor, if Meison or part of its business is reorganised, acquired, or merged, subject to this notice.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry correspondence for as long as needed to respond and to manage any relationship that follows, and afterwards for a reasonable period as an ordinary business record. If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we will, unless we are required to keep it.
Your choices
You may ask us to give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Write to marketing@meison.com and we will respond within the time the law allows. We will not treat you differently for asking.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you rights to know, delete, and correct the personal information we hold, and to be free from discrimination for exercising them. As stated above, we do not sell or share personal information.
If you contact us from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries as the basis for handling your information, and you may object to that handling at any time.
Children
This is a business-to-business site. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice we will post the revised version on this page and update the date below.
